Contents Log: Home Inventory · iOS · version 1.0

The app has no account and no server, so there is nothing on our side to look at. Your rooms, items and photos live in the app's storage on your iPhone. Anything that looks wrong is usually fixed by one of the four steps below — they need no internet connection and none of them deletes your data.

1. I unlocked it before and it's locked again

Open the app's Settings tab → the Unlock status row shows Locked. Tap it, then in the panel that opens tap Restore purchase. That asks Apple whether the Apple Account on this phone already owns the unlock. It does not charge you again. If it still says locked, check you are signed in to the same Apple Account you bought it with.

2. I want my data out of the app

  1. Tap the Value tab → Export this list, or go to Settings → Export everything now.
  2. Choose a row: Export CSV now gives you every item as a spreadsheet, at no charge. ZIP + full-size photos and Printable item list (PDF) are the two that come with the one-time unlock.
  3. The iOS share sheet opens. Pick Save to Files, Mail, or whatever you use. Nothing is uploaded anywhere by the app itself.

Before you wipe or hand on a phone: delete the app and its inventory goes with it, because there is no cloud copy. Export first — a CSV plus a ZIP is the whole record.

3. A photo didn't get saved

The app never drops a picture silently — it says what happened and still saves the item. Two messages you may see: "This device has no usable camera, so the item was saved without a photo. Use Library instead." and "Access to your photo library was denied — this item was saved without a photo." Both are recoverable: open the item again and add the photo. For the camera, allow it in iOS Settings → Contents Log → Camera. For the library, allow Photos there, or tap Library again and choose the images you want — the picker only ever sees the ones you pick. Photos you add are stored inside the app and are never written back into your photo library.

4. Money: refunds and charges

The unlock is one payment of $19.99 in the US (your local price is what the App Store showed you at purchase). It is not a subscription, so there is nothing to cancel and no renewal date. Any refund, receipt or charge question is handled entirely by Apple — the developer never sees your card or your name. Use reportaproblem.apple.com, or the App Store's My Orders → Report a Problem.

Tell us what went wrong

Email hnyxgxm2023@gmail.com and a person reads it. You don't need to include anything personal: which screen, what you tapped, what the app showed. A screenshot from the app's Settings → Export everything now flow is more useful than a description.

What we can't help with

Anything involving a copy of your data we don't hold: we have no server that stores your inventory, so we cannot restore a lost phone, recover a deleted room, or read back what you recorded. That is the trade the offline design makes, and it is why the free CSV export exists.
